    The Omega Group announces the release of FireView for ArcGIS 9.0. FireView allows fire and first response agencies to analyze their deployment strategies in order to save lives. Existing records and dispatch data are integrated with mapping tools that enable departments to maximize their resource efficiency. The following analytical tools provide information down to the street block level for all locations: First Due, identifies the first station due to arrive at any incident; Running Order, identifies the order of equipment and apparatus arrival to each area; Concentration, determines number of stations able to respond; Station Analysis, analyzes the response capabilities of fire/EMS stations; Response Comparison, compares expected response times with actual; and Response Time Maps.
